Unlike many industrially processed honeys in supermarkets, which are kept liquid by heating, natural honey will always crystallize sooner or later. This natural process proves:

No overheating: The honey has not been exposed to high temperatures. Temperatures above 40°C destroy important enzymes and impair the delicate aroma.
Quality: Crystallization is therefore a sign of the highest quality. It shows that the valuable ingredients have been preserved. Crystallized honey is by no means spoiled and can be eaten as usual.

How to Make Solid Honey Liquid Again

If your once-liquid honey has solidified, you can easily and gently liquefy it without compromising its quality:

1. Water bath: Place the jar of honey in a water bath with a temperature not exceeding 40°C. The gentle warmth will slowly make the honey liquid again.
2. Patience: Alternatively, you can place the honey on a radiator, which takes longer but is very gentle.

Important: Avoid the microwave or direct heat so as not to destroy the valuable ingredients and flavor.
