Gro-low Rosé – Val de Loire 100% Grolleau gris | 8.5% ABV
100% Grolleau gris from the slate soils of the Loire. After a short maceration period, the grapes are pressed at a low temperature to preserve the fresh fruit aromas of the must. The wine then ages on the lees for 8 to 14 months, with regular stirring (bâtonnage). The result: a creamy texture and remarkable depth for a wine with only 8.5% ABV.
Naturally low – naturally light. No gimmicks, no compromises: the Gro-low Rosé is naturally light, and you can't taste it one bit.
In the glass, it shines pale pink. On the nose, peach, passion fruit, white flowers – and a subtle hint of spice. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh, never becoming thin or sharp. Anyone who thinks a light wine must also be a simple one will be proven wrong here.
Perfect as an aperitif, with grilled fish, raw food platters, charcuterie, chicken, or salads. And for the adventurous: with raclette in winter too – an unexpected but convincingly good combination.
