Discover the outstanding "Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs Méthode Traditionnelle" from the Moutard family, an artisanal masterpiece crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the renowned Chablis region in northern Burgundy.
Clad in a radiant straw-yellow hue, this wine reveals a rich bouquet of white blossoms and citrus notes, paired with nuances of cedarwood and a hint of blackcurrant.
Its lively acidity and crisp minerality take the palate on a refreshing journey, rounded off by subtle notes of vanilla pudding, white fruit, and yeast.
This sparkling wine shines with its complexity and depth, pairing perfectly with fish appetizers and sushi, and elevating any cheese and salami aperitif to an elegant level.
A wine of exceptional value, embodying both elegance and complexity.
The Moutard Champagne house has been owned by the family since the 17th century and for several generations. It is located in a picturesque landscape on the sun-drenched slopes of the Côte des Bar, in the south of Champagne. The soil of the Côte des Bar, consisting of clay and shell limestone, gives the traditional grape varieties of the area, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, particularly full and fruity aromas that are highly prized by connoisseurs. All wines and Champagnes from Moutard are made from their own grapes or from grapes purchased from friendly winemakers. So that the Champagnes are perfectly matured and can be enjoyed immediately, they age for at least three years in the cellar, while vintage Champagnes age for ten to fifteen years.
The history of the Moutards begins in the year 1642. Old cellar books attest to these early activities as winemakers, on which the family tradition is based. Champagne production is the fruit of a true tradition, and every family develops its own techniques over time, which it continues to improve from then on.
