An innovative twist at the highest level
For this gourmet conserve, only exceptionally tender, freshly caught baby sardines (Sardinillas) are selected. As is customary in Galicia, the fish are cleaned by hand, lightly roasted (to preserve their delicate texture) and manually layered in the elegant cans.
The special highlight of this edition: Between the small, silver-shimmering sardines, a carefully selected slice of fine lemon peel is placed. During the slow maturation in the can, the lemon's essential oils infuse the premium olive oil. The result is an incomparably aromatic interplay between the hearty depth of the sea and a vibrant, citrusy freshness.
