Brut Nature from the solera — zero dosage, pure elegance

This cuvée of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is made using the solera method, in which several vintages are always combined to maintain consistent quality.
Very elegant and interesting, as the two grape varieties complement each other wonderfully: the Chardonnay brings a lively, light freshness, while the Pinot Noir provides structure and light tannins. On the nose, this Champagne reveals floral notes and notes of prunes, with fruity aromas of mirabelle plum and exotic fruits on the palate, leaving a wonderfully round mouthfeel.
Serve it as an aperitif or with fish and poultry, foie gras, or fruity desserts.
By the way: the cuvée des deux soeurs (of the two sisters) is named after the current owner's sisters – one blonde, like the Chardonnay, the other dark, like the Pinot Noir ...

The Champagne house Moutard has been owned by the family since the 17th century and for several generations. It is located in a picturesque landscape on the sun-drenched slopes of the Côte des Bar in the south of Champagne. The soil of the Côte des Bar, consisting of clay and shell limestone, gives the region's traditional grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, particularly full and fruity aromas that are highly prized by connoisseurs. All Moutard wines and Champagnes are made from the house's own grapes or from grapes purchased from friendly winemakers. To ensure that the Champagnes are perfectly matured and ready to enjoy immediately, they are aged for at least three years in the cellar, while vintage Champagnes are aged for ten to fifteen years.
The history of the Moutards begins in 1642. Old cellar books attest to these early activities as winemakers, on which the family tradition is based. Champagne production is the fruit of a true tradition, and every family develops its own techniques over time, which it continues to improve.
