The Port wine, aged in a 5-year reserve, presents itself in a rich, dark ruby red. Its intense bouquet enchants with a lush composition of wild forest fruits – juicy blueberries, ripe blackberries and sweet cherries combine harmoniously with fine spice notes. On the palate, it impresses with its remarkable freshness, accompanied by well-structured tannins. These form a perfect liaison with the lively acidity, thus creating a complex but balanced taste experience that reflects the purity and concentration of a classic Ruby Port.

** The Special Reserve Tawny Port is an exquisite composition of the best barrel-aged Tawny Ports from our wine cellar with an average age of 8 years. The result is a smooth and multifaceted Port wine, which impresses with its garnet-colored middle with a brick-colored edge. In the nose, this Tawny presents itself as extremely complex: It combines the fresh, youthful character of dried red fruits with the typical aromas of a matured Port – plums, raisins as well as fresh hazelnuts and almonds. The palate start surprises with spicy notes, followed by a hint of red fruits. The middle is dominated by dried fruits, while the finale underlines its complexity through additional layers of spices and caramel. The perfect balance between acidity, sweetness and alcohol leaves a pleasantly dry finish, which makes this Port a special enjoyment experience.

*** The 20-year-old Tawny Port holds the secret of our barrels and the wisdom and patience of our hardworking winemaker, who spent 20 years of his life creating this magnificent blend. Elegant and long on the palate with nutty dried fruits and soft spice notes.

For further details, see individual products.
