By arresting fermentation in a semi-sweet state by adding brandy, the main purpose was to preserve the natural sugar of the wine. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter 6 months of contact with the lees, the wine was racked in March 2009 and aged in 3 old French oak casks with a capacity of 650 liters each. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cblockquote\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAfter 14 years of aging, including time in these 3 casks, Ricardo Diogo Freitas chose number 547E as his favorite for this bottling. A rich and smooth palate with a lingering honey flavor.
